My new book trailer… THE MAN IN A HAYSTACK

I’ve spent all day re-working my book trailer to incorporate the new branding. Even though the previous trailer won an award, the statistics at YouTube indicated that most people weren’t watching it through to the end, so I knew that I had to shorten the new one to make it more effective. I’ve managed to reduce it by 1 minute so hopefully it’s much more watchable. What do you think?

  1. Hello Alice, really good catchy video, I like it very much. It’s succinct, to the point and very entertaining – must have been a lot of work to get it so right. Well done you!

    • Thank you Geoff! Well, I already had many of the frames from the previous video. I just had to delete and/or replace a few, then shorten and fade out the music. It still took me all day though. I tell you, the stuff I’ve learnt as time evolves with this author lark is incredible! πŸ˜‰ hehe.

  2. I don’t know what you have missed out, it seems perfect so well done for updating it to last less time. My only criticism is the part where you are told where to buy and it is gone before reading past the first supplier. Well done, and I love the music. Rosie

  3. Sister,

This is awesome! I love the new cover and the lovely trailer. So young and fresh! I really like the different date comparisons. I am so impressed and in awe of your β€œtechy” skills. You did this?? Bravo my sweet sister. Love the music too… Well done lovey! Taylor

    • Thank you sweetypie! πŸ™‚ Yes, I designed/created the trailer and my brother is a musician so he composed and recorded the music for me. A combined sibling venture. πŸ˜‰ Glad you love the cover too. I’m thrilled with it. Thanks for leaving a comment. I’m sorry I didn’t pick it up sooner. X
